The Chronicle has two more player profiles posted, one of Justin Robinson and one of Keenan Worthington, a freshman walk-on not expect to play much. However, he is 6-9 and that’s something you can’t teach.
We could be wrong but we don't think Duke has ever had two 6-9 walk-ons before (Robinson did earn a scholarship but came to Duke as a preferred walk-on).
Robinsons’ story is well known by now and his value is clear. He has a major role on this team as a leader.
Worthington is an unknown to most fans though. A graduate of Blair Academy, which produced former Blue Devil Luol Deng, Worthington was a two-star prospect who could have been a scholarship player somewhere else. The odds against him developing into a major contributor are not huge but can’t be discounted. If he turned into a reliable reserve, that would be a major boon from a walk-on.
