The much-hyped first Zion Williamson-RJ Barrett matchup is off: Williamson is scratched due to a sore right knee which means the two former Duke stars won’t meet in New York until January 10th. He’s going to undergo some more testing whatever that implies.

The reaction in the New York Post is pretty funny. The headline is “Knicks get another Zion Williamson letdown.”

It is a bit of a letdown. We were really curious to see how this would go and of course to see the Duke Duel play out on the biggest stage possible.

And Barrett has been coaching his teammates on how to play Williamson - or at least as well as anyone can: “You’ve got to try to make his finishes tough at the rim. That’s about all the advice I could give....He’s too big, too strong. He’s going to continue to do that hopefully over his whole career.’’
