Top prospect and key Duke target Jonathan Kuminga, told Stockrisers.com that he’s staying in the class of 2021 and has no plans to reclassify.

He also said that contrary to rumors that he is leaning towards LSU he has no favorite at the moment: “It’s fake news, i’m open to all schools recruiting me.”

That would be just about everyone but his primary list is Duke, Kentucky, LSU and St. John’s, according to ASeaofBlue.com.

Kuminga is going to be a real catch for whoever gets him but there could be a complication depending on when and how the NBA repeals the one and done rule. It’s entirely possible that that could change in time for him to go straight to the league.

Or as we have seen lately, a number of prospects have found more alluring paths than college basketball. Things are not nearly as predictable as they used to be.
