Statistics are a great way to get an insight into the impact a player has. Take Zion Williamson for instance.

As Ricky O’ Donnell says, [“y]ou might think the Duke forward is just a dunker if you spend all day looking at social media, but he’s spent his freshman season proving his game is so much deeper than that.”

He then points out seven specific stats to show how deeply unusual Williamson’s game. They run the gamut but back up two main points: he’s unbelievably efficient and pretty much unstoppable.

That’s all true, but as he also says, the dunks are pretty jaw dropping too. We’ll be watching highlights from this season for a long, long time.
