Jeff Capel’s First ACC Game As Pitt Coach Is Against His Boyhood Dream School UNC

Jeff Capel is about to coach his first ACC game with his own program.

Before he chose Duke, Jeff Capel’s dream school was UNC.

Fortunately he not only had a better experience but also a degree that means something and wasn’t given to him for just turning up to classes.

On Saturday, he’ll lead Pitt against UNC for the first time. He says he never hated UNC and we believe him, not least of all because brother Jason chose Carolina. But it won’t be nearly as emotional for him as it will be to play Duke.
