Duke Basketball’s Impact On The Television Market Is Dramatic This Season

As most of you realize, this year’s Duke team has gone off like a bomb in college basketball but we haven’t really seen the impact quantified yet.

Well now it has been.

Check out the ratings various sports events drew last week. Only the NFL outdrew Duke-Virginia and we can confidently say that Virginia basketball is not a big draw on TV.

Scroll down the page and look at ratings from a year ago for a comparison. It’s amazing. Can you imagine what it will be like if Duke makes the Final Four?
