With a big promotion, Philly obviously thinks very highly of Brand.

Well this is big news indeed: former Blue Devil Elton Brand has been named General Manager of the Philadelphia 76ers.

That’s remarkable. He’s just two years retired and has been Philly’s vice president of basketball operations prior to his big promotion.

He’s got a ton of potential to work with so hats off to the big guy and best of luck.
