Willie Taggart took over a Florida State program this year after Jimbo Fisher departed for Texas A&M and left a bit of a mess behind.
Taggart is busy fixing the program in general, shoring up the offensive line and installing his own systems. It’s not small job and at 1-2, FSU has struggled.
This has not gone unnoticed by fans.
Bad news: there are multiple GoFundMe drives to buy him out.
Good news: collectively they’ve only raised $10.00 so far.
Being upset is understandable but it’s madness to try to drive him away after three games and also a good lesson for others.
Duke will eventually have to replace Mike Krzyzewski and whoever takes the job is going to have a tough time following Coach K. We hope it’s not anytime soon but we also hope that our fans will be smart enough to be supportive instead of destructive no matter what happens. It certainly won’t make things any better.
