As Duke Preps For Baylor, Backups Will Get Key Roles After Injuries

Injuries are a shame but it will still be interesting to see who steps up.

As you probably know, cornerback Mark Gilbert is out for the season and it’s a big hit for Duke. So it’s good to know that the coaching staff has confidence in the younger guys.

Duke leaves for Baylor Thursday ahead of Hurricane Florence, which has moved to the south but will still cause problems in the Triangle. We’ll see what the younger players, including quarterback Quentin Harris, who will fill in while Daniel Jones rehabs, can do.
