Jeff Goodman’s Top 25 Has Lots Of ACC Flavor

This could be a great year in the conference

Jeff Goodman has his Top 25 out and it has some nice surprises from a Duke/ACC point of view.

First, Duke is #3. Virginia follows at #5, UNC is #7, Virginia Tech #13, Syracuse #15 and Notre Dame #23. That’s six ACC teams in his Top 25.

He lists Florida State, Clemson, NC State and Louisville as teams to watch along with Davidson, a team with historical ties to the ACC (the original ACC teams and Davidson came from the Southern Conference).

He also has Steve Wojciechwoski’s Marquette at #21.
