Duke football is casting a much wider net

Duke football used to have trouble advertising outside of Durham County. Clearly that’s changed.

John Seelke saw an ad for Duke football in...Silver Springs, Maryland.

It was on a video ad board and featured Daniel Jones holding a ball out and staring at the viewer.

At first glance it doesn’t make much sense but Duke does have a lot of graduates in the DC area. Given Duke’s improvement, it does make sense to cast a wider net.
