NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Sacramento Practice
Mar 16, 2017; Sacramento, CA, USA; NCAA basketballs sit in a rack during practice the day before the first round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament at Golden 1 Center.
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Nico Mannion is rapidly becoming one of the great prizes of the class of 2019. Duke and Arizona are generally seen as the leaders but no one knows much now outside of the Mannion family circle.

If you’ve read much about him so far you’ll know his father, Pace, played basketball in Italy where he met his wife.

As it happens, Nico played for Italy after being cut by the U.S., so no matter how good he gets, he can’t play for the U.S. internationally.

For college fans, that’s down the road. Where will he end up? And how good will he be?

After you read this, you’ll end up thinking that he’s going to be pretty damn good.
