Jim Liked What He Saw At Saturday’s Duke Scrimmage. He’s Not The Only One

Don’t get crazy yet but Duke could be pretty good this year.

Sunday we posted Jim Sumner’s comments about the football scrimmage which were very encouraging. The N&O’s Steve Wiseman attended as well and was also pretty favorably impressed.

It’s August and the team hasn’t played a game yet but things sound good so far. We like the idea of a much more open offense and the defense sounds imposing as well.

Duke’s come a long way from the days when no one wanted to even talk about the team, including most people at Duke.
