As we’ve been saying, it won’t take long for Utah Jazz fans to embrace Grayson Allen. He’s kind of the Crash Davis of college basketball, only on a higher level. He throws his body around with abandon, plays like a kid who wants to get on the floor with the older guys and generally speaking leaves a good impression if you’re actually watching him as opposed to reading about him.

He didn’t shoot well in his debut but he did everything else pretty well and remember that it takes a while to adapt to the thin air in Salt Lake City. Give him a few weeks and he’ll be at home there as much as he was at Cameron.
