Rudy Lacy, who played at Duke with Dick Groat and Lefty Driesell, has died.

Lacy, who was 86, died of bone cancer.

He coached at Cave Springs High in Roanoke, Virginia, where one of his players was Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall (it’s also JJ Redick’s alma mater).

We don’t know much about him honestly but he sounds like a good man who lived a worthy life. Our condolences to his family and loved ones.
