Marvin Bagley has been wealthy for a week or two now since signing his Puma deal but added more to the bottom line when he signed his rookie contract over the weekend.

If he’s smart with his money he should be set for life. One NBA player several years ago said he put half of everything he earned away before thinking about anything else. Smart guy. It’s easy to blow money and hard to stop, as Johnny Depp is learning about now.

Things have been moving fast for young Bagley. Now his job is to slow down. He’s off to the NBA. He’s off to summer league play where he’ll team up with fellow former Blue Devil Harry Giles for the first time.
