The deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft was Wednesday and there were major ramifications for some ACC teams.

Wake Forest lost center Doral Moore and guard Bryant Crawford, Tyus Battle will return to Syracuse where Jim Boeheim will now get his entire starting lineup back, and Marcquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell will be back for Clemson. Not David Skara though, who will likely play in Europe.

He decided earlier, but Georgia Tech will lose Josh Okogie, who has been impressive in NBA workouts, will not be back for the Georgia TechYellow Jackets.

Ky Bowman will be back for Boston College but sidekick Jerome Robinson, at least a borderline first-round pick, is gone.

Torin Dorn will be back for NC State. Omer Yurtseven gave up on his NBA move early but made a move to Georgetown instead (also, former NC State players Caleb and Cody Martin are heading back to Nevada, where they’ll now were Adidas instead of Nike and where they have a legitimate shot at the Final Four).

Louisville’s Deng Adel is gone as is Ray Spalding.

As for Miami, Bruce Brown and Lonnie Walker are both gone but big man Dewan Huell will be back.

Luke Maye came to his senses a few days ago. He’s become an outstanding college player with a knack for rebounding and three point shooting but he’s 6-8, maybe, and he has struggled with more athletic players in college. He could have an outstanding overseas career but his NBA odds are not good.
