2018 Hoophall Classic: The Ranney School vs Mount Saint Joseph
Jan 14, 2018; Springfield, MA, USA; The Ranney School guard Scottiue Lewis (23) and guard Bryan Antoine (1) return up court against Mount Saint Joseph during game five on Sunday as some of the top high school basketball teams in the country compete at the Hoophall Classic.

Recruiting is fun to watch but it takes a while for things to firm up sometimes and all we can do is read the signs and tea leaves. So don’t take anything here as absolute, hints or anything of the kind. We’re just looking at some things and some may come to pass while some may not.

And sometimes we like to look at other sites to see who they are giving up on.

For UNC, that appears to be Concord’s Wendell Moore with Keeping It Heel predicting he’ll pick Duke.

A Sea of Blue, a Kentucky site, thinks that Duke will get Brian Antoine.

Antoine is also considering Kentucky and Villanova, among others. However, on Wednesday, ‘Nova got a commitment from DeMatha’s 6-4 Justin Moore.

They’re still in pursuit of Antoine’s sidekick Scottie Lewis so it’s hard to see Moore, Lewis and Antoine all picking Villanova.

Of course, Duke managed to get commitments from RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish and Zion Williamson in the same class, so you can’t rule it out.

We’ll give the last word to Evan Daniels who calls it for Duke over at the Crystal Ball, where Antoine is trending heavily to the Blue Devils.
