Cleveland Cavaliers v Brooklyn Nets

One of the mysteries of the playoffs so far, and we have no idea why this is happening, is the case of the vanishing Hood.

We refer to Rodney Hood, formerly of Duke and the Utah Jazz and with Cleveland after a three-way deal involving Cleveland, Utah and the Sacramento Kings.

It seems like a great situation because LeBron James demands enormous attention and that should leave Hood open to do his thing.

Unfortunately he hasn't done much and during Game 4 of the series with the Raptors, he refused to enter the game - that’s not the Hood we knew at Duke.

He’s too talented not to play well so maybe there’s something else going on. It’s just sad to see him struggling like this. We hope it turns around quickly.
