ESPN has a nice rundown on the Top Ten recruits for 2019 and who they’re considering.

To save you a bit of time, Duke has been mentioned in connection with Vernon Carey, Matthew Hurt, Cole Anthony, Brian Antoine and Jalen Lecque.

Speaking of recruiting, Virginia picked up an interesting prospect, getting a commitment from 7-0 Francisco Caffaro of Argentina.

Caffaro is a graduate of The NBA Global Academy and one of the first two grads from there to get to an American college.

The idea of the academy is to help international prospects refine their game and there is room here for the NBA and college basketball to cooperate to the benefit of both sides. So he’s a significant figure and an early test of the idea.
