State Picks Up A Transfer

Kevin Keatts has had several transfers out this spring, most recently promising Lavar Batts, but he’s also continued to bring transfers in and Monday picked up Florida International grad transfer Eric Lockett.

Lockett, who is moving to his fourth college, is 6-5 and averaged 14.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists as a junior last season.

Previously he played for George Mason, a JUCO and then FIU.

At State, he should provide some offense and, given Keatts’ system, will have to be a rugged defender as well.
