Grayson’s Proudest Duke Accomplishment Is His Last

For all the talk about one-and-done type stuff, there’s still a lot to be said for someone who comes to college to get an education and sticks with it until he does.

So it is with Grayson Allen. Duke released this video of Allen, his parents and Coach K discussing how he has grown.

You can’t discount wealth, least of all to anyone who grew up poor, but there is wealth in knowledge too. It’s nice to see someone mention it because long after Allen can run up and down a basketball court, the ideas he wrestled with in college will keep his mind growing.

Coach K said it simply and most effectively: Allen came to Duke as a good kid and leaves as a better man.
