Duke Basketball Recruiting: Our Favorite Player Of 2020 Gets An Offer

Favorite player so far anyway. But we like him a lot.

When we watch mixtapes, every so often one guy jumps out of the screen at us.

That was the case not too long ago with a guard named Nico Mannion out of Phoenix.

He’s quick, he has hops and he sees the court beautifully.

We thought: we sure hope Duke offers him.

Well, they have and he seems pleased.

Check out his mixtape. He’s going to be good and would look great in Duke blue.

Plus he has a trait that Duke likes a lot: his dad was in the NBA.

Nico’s dad, Pace, played at Utah, in the NBA and in Italy His son looks like he could follow in his footsteps. He’s in the class of 2020 but says he may reclassify.

Incidentally, Nico is short for Niccolo. We wonder if he speaks Italian like Kobe Bryant whose dad also played there.
