Duke football coach David Cutcliffe impressed us when he took the job and has continued to do so ever since. He has always come across as a decent man and a man of honor.

We never heard much about his early life though so this article from the News & Observer was great to read. You’ll get a much better idea of what made Cutcliffe Cutcliffe and why he says he’s grateful to have grown up in Birmingham when most of the nation vilified it.
