Dec 1, 2017; Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Pittsburgh Panthers forward Ryan Luther (4) drives to the basket against Duquesne Dukes forward Tydus Verhoeven (25) during the second half at PPG Paints Arena. PITT won 76-64.

There’s a bit of ACC news today, mostly relating to player movement or retention.

Jeff Capel won’t coach Ryan Luther; the graduate student will finish up at Arizona. Someone please advise him about Valley Fever!

According to Evan Daniels, former NC State forward Darius Hicks will transfer to Eastern Kentucky and finish his career as a Colonel.

Big day for Cam Johnson: the senior made it known he will be back at UNC next year via his father.

Dad had to do it because Cameron had his hip scoped Monday and presumably was not up. to tweeting his own news.

No update on Keyshawn Johnson’s destination but Virginia’s still interested.

Finally, this is pretty cool: Sam Hunt, who is from Greensboro and who just finished his transfer year at State, organized his former teammates to help clean up in Greensboro after a tornado struck there. That’s a mighty nice thing for everyone to do.
