Duke Women’s Basketball Coach McCallie On Medical Leave

It’s not clear what her issue is but we hope it’s not serious.

Bad but manageable news for women’s basketball: coach Joanne P. McCallie is taking a medical leave of absence.

She’s dealing with a kidney issue (nature unspecified) and is likely to be out for a couple of months.

Best of luck to coach P. as she (we hope) heals and gets back to normal.
