Reforms Likely For Duke Tenters

The UNC game was a bit of a fiasco and if nothing else, liability concerns are kicking in.

We missed this when it happened but apparently the whole tenting system broke down at Cameron before the UNC game this year ending, as the Chronicle relates, in “total chaos.”

Not surprisingly, alcohol was involved.

The Crazies have been pretty good at regulating themselves for a long time so this is disappointing. Talks are underway about finding better ways to do things so here’s our .02 cents: rather than assigning priority strictly based on who’s in line longest, why not base it, at least partly, on who attends the most games prior to the games they tent for?

You could color code bands based on attendance and factor that into who gets in first.

Whatever it turns out to be, rushing the door is a dangerous situation. The last thing you want is something like this.
