NCAA Womens Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Albany Regional-Duke vs Connecticut
Mar 24, 2018; Albany , NY, USA; Duke Blue Devils guard Lexie Brown (4) drives to the basket past Connecticut Huskies forward Napheesa Collier (24) during the first half in the semifinals of the Albany regional of the women’s basketball 2018 NCAA Tournament at the Times Union Center.
Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Beating UConn is about like beating...well damn, there’s not much of a comparison is there? UConn hardly ever loses. The Huskies were 34-0 coming into the Duke game and are 35-0 coming out.

Duke lost 72-59 but it wasn’t that close. UConn took a 20-point lead to halftime and we don't think there’s a team in the women’s game that could come back from 20 down to UConn.

Duke did win the 4th quarter 28-21 but that wasn't enough to catch the Huskies.

The Blue Devils were led by Leaonna Odom, who had 22. In their final games as Blue Devils, Rebecca Greenwell was held to six and Lexie Brown 10.
