There were no ACC games Monday and none scheduled for Tuesday as exams intensify around the conference so this will be a light ACC Roundup.
Clemson is longing for a healthy Marcquise Reed who will allow the Tigers to get closer to their potential. He’s been out with a sprained knee and while he’s key on offense, he’s key on defense too. Since that’s Clemson’s backbone they really do need him.
Syracuse didn’t make the coaches poll but did make the AP, re-entering at #25.
Well in a three way tie for #25.
Top 28?
Even a less-than-perfect Frank Howard, as he’s recovering, is a big help for the Orange. They need him as much as Clemson needs Reed. That said, Jim Boeheim is not all that happy with his progress and wants him to play with confidence and aggression.
Coming up soon in the Carrier Dome: undefeated Buffalo. That’s a great test for both teams.
Ominous news for the ACC: Tony Bennett is comparing Kihei Clark to Muggsy Bogues.
