As you probably know, the Duke University Marching Band, fondly known as DUMB, gives fans the chance to be guest conductors. And after Tuesday’s big win against Kentucky, it looks like a particularly fun season to do it. And we’ll tell you a little secret too:

When you sit right behind a basket, you see things that you can’t see anywhere else. You can, for one, see not just the competition between players but the conflict. You can see when guys are irritating each other and when they really, really don’t like each other.

It’s a blast in other words. If you’re interested, this is the time to do it.
