NBA: Preseason-Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers
Oct 4, 2018; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings forward Harry Giles (20) looks to move the ball defended by Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram (14) and center JaVale McGee (7) in the first half at Staples Center.
Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

It’s still preseason basketball but former Blue Devils Harry Giles and Marvin Bagley were impressive against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Giles finished with 14 points and seven rebounds while Bagley put up 19 points and 10 rebounds, pretty close to what he averaged at Duke.

The pair combined for 33 points and 17 boards, numbers that would warm any coaches heart.

As we mentioned separately, fellow former Devil Brandon Ingram had 33 points and nine boards, close to what the Sacto duo accomplished, and stopped four consecutive inbounds plays, so a good night all around for former Dukies.
