Duke-UK: Let The Woofing Begin

When you get to the highest level of high school-age basketball, all those guys know each other. So while most of us Duke and Kentucky fans will see next week’s game as the LATEST TITANIC CLASH BETWEEN SUPERPOWERS those guys are playing against people they know and who are, in some cases, friends and possibly former teammates.

So when Keldon Johnson, now a UK freshman, admits to talking trash (and meaning it), Duke freshman Tre Jones to an extent laughs it off because he knows the guy pretty well.

It’s kind of like Duke and UNC players sharing the same barbershop but with more distance and no barber chairs.

Well, Kentucky might have some. But you get the point.
