One of the things that a lot of Duke players learn after leaving is that while you get paid in the NBA, you have no guarantee of winning.
So while you have guys like Jayson Tatum and Grayson Allen that end up on successful teams high draft picks are much more likely to go to dreadful teams.
Such is the case for former Blue Devil Wendell Carter, who is now a Chicago Bull.
How bad are things there?
The Bulls are 1-3, riddled with injuries, Zach LaVine is carping about the coach and this site is already calling for the team to tank so it can draft more Duke players.
