Duke #4 in AP Preseason Top 25

The Associated Press today released its Preseason Top 25 for the 2018-19 college basketball season, and the Duke Blue Devils once again are considered one of the best teams in the country. Duke landed at #4 in the Preseason Top 25, behind Kansas, Kentucky (who the Blue Devils play to open the season on November 6th), and Gonzaga. Duke also earned 4 1st-place votes in the poll.

The ACC represented well in the opening poll, with Virginia, UNC, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Florida State, and Clemson also joining Duke in the Top 25. Notre Dame, Louisville, Miami, and N.C. State all received votes but ended up outside the Top 25.
