Critical Injury Just In Time For Georgia Tech’s Explosive Offense

The Yellow Jackets are 1-3 but that doesn’t diminish how difficult it is to defend that offense.

Duke v Baylor
WACO, TX - SEPTEMBER 15: Jamycal Hasty #6 of the Baylor Bears is wrapped up by Koby Quansah #49 of the Duke Blue Devils during the second half of a football game at McLane Stadium on September 15, 2018 in Waco, Texas.

Duke’s David Cutcliffe likes to use three linebackers against a triple-option offense like Georgia Tech runs - and no one runs it much better than the Yellow Jackets - but his first option won't be available.

Junior Koby Quansah broke his fifth metatarsal in his left foot this week in practice and is out for the season. We would never quibble with the diagnosis but we would note that Duke has an advantage when it comes to injuries because the Medical Center is capable of amazing, cutting edge stuff. But don’t count on it.

Cutcliffe will go with Chris Rumph instead.
