Hey Duke Fans! Let’s Have Some Fun With BBN

Hey Duke fans - as we know, the Big Blue Nation is an elite fan base and to say they travel well is an understatement. An example:

Several years ago both Duke and Kentucky were in Hawaii for a holiday tournament. According to Boswell, some bogus tickets had been printed up and bought up by UK fans and they were not allowed in.

When some more tickets became available, they rushed the ticket window - and unfortunately Mrs. Boswell was standing between them and the window as the UK fans nearly went full Cincinnati Who on her, knocking her over in their mad rush to get tickets.

It’s passion and we respect it. But we also want to have a little fun with it.

Tickets for the Duke-Kentucky game go on sale next Monday at 10:00 A.M. It would be great if Duke fans swarmed the site to buy as many as possible - and then bought up whatever gets posted on secondary sites.

Thing is, you don’t have to go. We can almost - not entirely but almost - promise you that if you do buy some you’ll be able to resell them on Stubhub or wherever for more than you paid for them.

In fact, the more we buy the higher the prices would go. If we play this right, you might be able to pay for your Christmas with the purchase of one ticket. (Well, maybe not.)

Obviously it’s better if you go of course, but even if you don’t have any intention of going, you can make it more expensive for one of their guys to go, and there’s something to be said for that.

So mark your calendars and fire up your phone or PC on October 8th at 10:00 A.M. and do your bit to drive BBN batty!
