Bagley, Carter Giving Duke A Big Lift

You wouldn’t want us to get heavily into stats analysis and analytics. We leave that to our betters.

Even so, there are times when that sort of thing is useful and times when it’s not really necessary to find what you need to know.

And when it comes to Duke, what you need to know is this: while Marvin Bagley and Wendell Carter are terrific basketball players individually, but together, they’re an absolute terror.

Carter is averaging 13.7 ppg and 8.9 rpg which is outstanding for a freshman.

But Bagley is putting up 21.9 ppg and 11.6 rpg which is great for any age.

Add them up though and Duke’s Dynamic Duo is averaging 35.6 ppg and 20.5 rpg.

It’s safe to say Duke has never seen anything like this before.
