Only one game Tuesday but it’s an interesting one with Pitt visiting Louisville.
Interesting might not be the right word exactly but we’re not sure which one would be better.
Louisville had an absolute disaster at Kentucky. It’s career-defining for David Padgett and several of his players voiced a certain level of discontent.
And for Pitt of course it’s an opportunity. The Panthers have had some real challenges this season with only two returning players and one, Ryan Luther, currently out with an injury.
Thing is, despite everything they’ve gotten better. It’s not like they’re world beaters but they’re dangerous now. It’s kind of under the radar but Pitt is 7-2 in the last nine games.
And Louisville...what do we expect from the Cardinals? Will they roll over? Will they be furious over how they played against Kentucky?
As much as Kentucky defined Louisville’s season Pitt will too but in a different way.
That’s the only game Tuesday but on Wednesday, things will get very interesting, starting with UNC’s visit to Florida State.
Congratulations to the Tigers as Clemson enters the polls at #25.
