You don’t have to look too far to find Duke basketball connections to Houston and Texas. Kenny Dennard is in business in Houston; Justise Winslow is from Space City.

Matt Jones and Marques Bolden are from DeSoto, just outside of Dallas. Thomas Hill is from nearby Lancaster.

Dennard smartly left Houston before Hurricane Harvey hit; unfortunately he left for Miami and is now back on the road, last known to be in San Francisco.

As for Winslow, he’s at Duke and working on a fundraiser to help out back home.

His mother, Robin Davis, runs a charity called Robin’s House Family Foundation and they’ve raised $90,000 so far for hurricane relief.

You can help out on Saturday morning by playing Knockout. A game of Knockout will be $10.00 bucks and you can be on the court in Cameron.
