Former Duke star Brandon Ingram got a certain amount of criticism after his rookie season in LA but realistically they drafted SpongeBob Squarepants physically. He’s a thin person naturally but he entered the NBA as a teenager who weighed about 170 lbs.

When he was at Duke we weren’t at all sure he could keep up with bigger guys. But he did.

And as he fills out, he’ll do it in the NBA too. He’s a smart player with a body built for the sport.

He just needs time to develop his body. He’ll be better this year.

Los Angeles GM Magic Johnson recognized his potential earlier this summer when he identified him as the only untouchable Laker.

Will Brandon Ingram prove his star potential in Year 2?
