Duke has been recruiting as well as anyone lately but there’s always competition for talent and that certainly includes Darius Garland.

The 6-1 point guard was visited Monday night by new Indiana coach (and former State point guard) Archie Miller.

Garland’s dad, Winston, said this: “I’m a Hoosier at heart. I was also recruited by Bob Knight. It’s been cool to see the Hoosiers recruit Darius.”

No doubt. And while that may sound concerning for Duke, it’s worth remembering that Mike Krzyzewski actually played for Knight. He and Mr. Garland can probably trade some good stories.
