Art Chansky Offers Up Bulletin Board Material For Duke

If Duke’s looking for some bulletin board material for this weekend’s trip to Kenan Stadium, long-time Carolina guy Art Chansky is happy to provide:

“But even at 3-0, the Blue Devils are in the running for the worst undefeated team in America. They have beaten N.C. Central 60-7 and Central lost its second game to little Shaw almost as badly, 41-0. Duke also whipped a very average Northwestern team, which has yet to beat another Power 5 school. And Baylor? I cannot believe that is the same program that ran up more than 700 yards against the Tar Heels in 2015.“

Any way you slice it, 3-0 is better than 1-2.

What we’re curious about this weekend is seeing how Duke reacts to Chazz Surratt, who memorably enraged David Cutcliffe by flipping from Duke to UNC when the Heels expressed an interest.

It worked out okay. It’s still early for both guys but Daniel Jones has been better so far so to borrow from something Cutcliffe said in a more general context, UNC is welcome to a guy who doesn't keep his word.

We’re just curious to see if Duke’s defense decides to make a point or two when he’s in.
