An opening pitch is a great chance to embarrass yourself and it’s happened to lots of people, including athletes.

The Red Sox had Jayson Tatum throw out the first pitch on Sunday and suffice it to say while it wasn't a perfect pitch, it did at least have some slight heat and the catcher caught it.

In other words, no embarrassment.
