Amile Jefferson wasn’t drafted this summer but he showed enough interesting things at Duke to get some attention. He’s smart, charismatic and an outstanding defender among other things.
Someone was going to give him a shot and, as it turns out, it’s Minnesota.
The T-Wolves gave him a one-year partially guaranteed contract.
He’ll see fellow former Blue Devil Tyus Jones there of course, but there’s a lot of competition for playing time in the front court.
He’ll probably spend time in the D-League where he’ll get a chance to expand his game which has been tough the last two years due to injuries.
