NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Yale vs Duke
Mar 19, 2016; Providence, RI, USA; The Duke Blue Devils mascot cheers against the Yale Bulldogs during the first half of a second round game of the 2016 NCAA Tournament at Dunkin Donuts Center.
Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Duke has offered three players: Nassir Little (6-7/2018), Vernon Carey (6-10/2019) and Armando Bacot (6-8/2019).

Little has really come up fast. His high school coach said that his original goal was to get one college offer. Now he has picked up some really great options, including UNC, Virginia, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami and Arizona. Bobby Hurley has offered him a spot at Arizona State as well.

He’s already cut his list to five though: Miami, Arizona, Duke, Georgia Tech, and UNC.

Little’s GPA isn’t so little: he clocks in at 4.6.

Duke is comparing him to Justise Winslow only more efficient. Sounds like he’d fit right in but obviously there’s a lot of competition.

It’s not common for Duke to offer the other guys this early but clearly they think it’s the right thing to do.

Carey is the #1 2019 recruit currently and also picked up an offer from UNC this week.

Bacot, out of Richmond, is an AAU teammate of fellow Duke target David McCormack 6-10/2018) and has said he wouldn’t mind playing with McCormack in college.
