If UNC thought the NCAA was going to back down, it looks like that’s not happening.

UNC released the NCAA’s letter of July 9th and we learned that the infractions committee has scheduled. hearing for August 16th-17th and it sounds like the committee is tired of UNC’s antics. Check this out:

"The issues at the heart of this case are clearly the NCAA's business. When a member institution allows an academic department to provide benefits to student-athletes that are materially different from the general student body, it is the NCAA's business."

We also learned that Roy Williams, Sylvia Hatchell and Larry Fedora have been summoned to the meeting (Fedora is summoned but wasn’t at UNC during the scandal years).

As you probably remember, the NCAA is alleging five Level I allegations. UNC has not yet released its response to the NCAA’s letter but promises that within the next two weeks.
