One of the more underappreciated players in Duke history is Jack Marin. He had an outstanding career during the Bubas era and then went on to a very successful NBA run.

Every so often we like to poke through YouTube and see what we can find. The only video we found of Marin is from the 1972 NBA All-Star game. As you can see, he was pretty fluid and a complete player. The game has changed a lot and the way guys played then was much more economical. He’s not trying to dunk or do fancy stuff here. It’s just good, smart basketball, and that kind of a game is essentially eternal.
