Duke Recruiting: Marvin Bagley Update

Gary Parrish says that Marvin Bagley III was the talk of Peach Jam, partly because of his outstanding play and partly because of the questions about whether or not he’s going to try to reclassify in time for next season.

So is he trying to do it? His dad said “ask CBS Sports,” meaning Parrish. And Parrish stands by the report that Bagley is trying to reclassify.

If he does, as Mike DeCourcy reported the other day, he doesn’t have too much time.

Whatever happens it’s shaken up the normal July recruiting patterns because this kid is really good.

How good?

This good.

It’s not just the athleticism and the dunks, though those are exciting. It’s also the range on his shot and his overall game, including at least one really nice pass. The kid has a really bright future in basketball.
