Barry Jacobs On Early Entry Debate

The N&O recently changed its Web policy and limits how many articles you can access.

This gives us some mild issues because we don't hit links anymore unless we’re sure there’s a payoff.

Rationing in other words.

So we missed this story by Barry Jacobs about the one-and-done discussion happening currently.

We like to link Barry’s stuff because he’s a smart observer with a moral basis behind his writing that’s not preachy.

As far as the N&O goes, we’ve been thinking for a while that we should publish a list of the tricks we use to get around firewalls. It’s fine if you only go to one site but if you read broadly, who wants to pay for dozens of subscriptions?

So we’ll just say there is one for the N&O so we’ll continue to link there.
