NCAA Football: Duke at Pittsburgh
Nov 19, 2016; Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Duke Blue Devils quarterback Daniel Jones (17) looks to pass against the Pittsburgh Panthers during the first quarter at Heinz Field.
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Duke football coach David Cutcliffe has made loyalty a big part of his culture wherever he’s coached. We’ve seen it with the Manning brothers showing up at Duke on a regular basis. Now we see it with Duke guys too.

Cut’s first Duke QB, Thaddeus Lewis, missed this NFL season with an injury but he rehabbed at Duke and spent part of his time working with current Duke QB Daniel Jones.

Jones was thrust into the job last season when injuries kept Thomas Sirk off the field and after an erratic start showed immense promise.

Working with Lewis is going to accelerate his development.
